Peace Lily, Sail Plant, Spathe Flower: Spathiphyllum wallisii
This evergreen perennial has bright-green, lance-shaped leaves borne on long, stiff, upright stems. White, arum-like flowers appear from mid-spring to late summer. The hybrid Spathiphyllum ‘Mauna Loa’ produces larger, more brightly colored flowers.

Care: In winter, keep compost evenly moist; in summer, water freely. Feed with weak fertilizer every 10–14 days from mid-spring to late summer. Feed every 4–5 weeks during the rest of the year. Repot when roots fill the pot, usually every year. |

Propagation: Divide congested plants in spring. Until established, place in 50–55°F (10–13°C). |
