Grape Ivy, Natal Vine, Venezuela Treebine: Cissus rhombifolia
Earlier known as Rhoicissus rhomboidea, this will climb and spread to 20ft (6m) in a greenhouse or conservatory. Dark-green leaves are each formed of 3 diamond-shaped, scalloped, spiny-edged leaflets. The form ‘Ellen Danica,’ known as the Mermaid Vine (pictured), is not as vigorous as the species; it is ideal for growing in a pot indoors.
