Baby Primula, Fairy Primrose, Fairy Primula: Primula malacoides
Winter- and spring-flowering perennial, but usually grown as a greenhouse annual, it has pale-green, oval leaves. Whorls of star-like flowers appear in several colors—pink, carmine-red, white, lavender, and white, with yellow eyes.

Care: When flowering, keep compost moist but not waterlogged. From when flower buds appear, feed every 10–14 days with weak liquid fertilizer. Discard plants when they cease flowering. |

Propagation: Buy fresh plants each year, or sow seeds during summer and place in a cold frame or greenhouse at 45°F (7°C). Barely cover seeds with compost. |
