Tongueleaf: Glottiphyllum linguiforme
Succulent with thick, tongue-like, shiny green leaves about 2in (5cm) long. In autumn and early winter, it bears golden-yellow flowers that open on sunny days and close at night.

Care: In winter, keep compost slightly moist; in summer, water more freely, but not excessively, ensuring the compost is well drained, and feed every 2–3 weeks with weak liquid fertilizer. |

Propagation: Remove side shoots in late summer, insert in sandy, well-drained compost, and place in 59–64°F (15–18°C). |
