Temple Bells: Smithiantha hybrids
Tender, rhizomatous hybrids mainly derived from Smithiantha cinnabarina and Smithiantha zebrina. They have dark-green, heart-shaped leaves and many pendulous, long and bell-shaped, foxglove-like flowers in shades of white, yellow-red, orange, and pink (many with purple markings). They are borne on large, pyramidal heads from early to late summer.

Summer: 64–70°F (18–21°C). Direct light without full sun, or indirect light |
Care: From early to late summer, keep compost moist, but not waterlogged. No feeding is necessary. |

Propagation: Divide congested rhizomes at potting time, from late winter to late spring and place in 64–70°F (18–21°C). Alternatively, take leaf cuttings in late spring or early summer and place in 70°F (21°C). |
