Earlier known as Bryophyllum daigremontianum, this distinctive succulent has an unbranched central stem and fleshy, slightly triangular, green leaves about 4–6in (10–15cm) long. They are marbled with brown and curl slightly upward at their edges. The undersides are blotched with purple, and small plantlets develop along their edges.

Spread: 10–12in (25–30cm) |
Winter: 45–50°F (7–10°C). Full sun |
Summer: 50–61°F (10–16°C). Direct light without full sun |
