Carrion Flower, Starfish Cactus, Toad Cactus: Orbea variegata
Also known as Stapelia variegata, this succulent develops gray-green stems and pale-yellow, star-like flowers in late summer and early autumn. They are 2–3in (5–7.5cm) wide, with chocolate-brown markings.

Care: In winter, keep compost slightly moist; in summer, water more freely but avoid waterlogging, and feed every 2–3 weeks with weak liquid fertilizer. |

Propagation: Sow seeds in spring, in 64–70°F (18–21°C). Alternatively, divide congested clumps in spring and place in 64°F (18°C). |
