Artillery Plant, Gunpowder Plant, Mossy Pilea: Pilea microphylla
Earlier known as Pilea muscosa, this evergreen perennial with small, mid-green leaves has a fern-like appearance. From late spring to late summer it produces small, greenish-yellow flowers that puff out clouds of pollen when disturbed, causing great amusement, especially to children.

Summer: 61–75°F (16–24°C). Indirect light or light shade |
Care: In winter, keep compost lightly moist; in summer, water freely and feed every 2–3 weeks. Repot in spring when roots fill the pot, usually every year when young. |

Propagation: Take 3in (7.5cm) stem-tip cuttings in spring. Place in 64–70°F (18–21°C). |
