Pink Cryptanthus: Cryptanthus bromelioides
Upright, spreading plant with finely spine-edged, mid-green leaves borne on slender stalks. The form tricolor (known as Rainbow Star) is more colorful, with green leaves striped with creamy white lines and flushed pale pink.

Care: In winter, keep compost barely moist; in summer, water more freely but ensure good drainage, and feed every 5–6 weeks with weak liquid fertilizer. Repot in early summer when roots fill the pot. |

Propagation: In spring or early summer, remove offsets, transfer to individual pots, and place in 64–70°F (18–21°C). |
