Winter: 35–45°F (2–7°C); it survives lower temperatures, but the compost must be kept dry. Avoid high winter temperatures, which discourage flower bud formation. Full sun

Summer: 50–80°F (10–27°C). Full sun, or direct light without full sun

Care: In winter, keep compost barely moist; in summer, water freely. From late spring to late summer, feed every 2 weeks with weak liquid fertilizer.

Propagation: Short pieces of stem can be removed in spring, inserted in sandy compost, and placed in 59–64°F (15–18°C).
