Kentia Palm, Paradise Palm, Sentry Palm, Thatch Leaf Palm, Thatch Palm: Howea forsteriana
Earlier known as Howeia forsteriana and Kentia forsteriana, this feather-type palm has large, wide, deep-green leaflets. It grows more rapidly than Howea belmoreana and its stems are less arching.

Winter: 50–54°F (10–12°C). Full sun, or direct light without full sun |
Summer: 59–70°F (15–21°C). Indirect light or light shade |
Care: In winter, keep compost barely moist; in summer, water freely but ensure good drainage, and feed every 3 weeks with weak liquid fertilizer. Repot in spring when roots fill the pot, usually every 2–3 years. |
