Kanniedood Aloe, Partridge-Breasted Aloe, Partridge-Breasted Pheasant’s Wings, Pheasant’s Wings, Tiger Aloe: Aloe variegata
Succulent plant with dark-green leaves, irregularly cross-banded, and blotched white. The stiff, keeled, somewhat triangular leaves arise in overlapping ranks. During summer, the plant develops orange flowers on stems about 10in (25cm) long.

Care: In winter, keep compost slightly damp; in summer, water more freely, but allow to become slightly dry between applications. From mid-spring to late summer, feed every 2–3 weeks with weak liquid fertilizer. |

Propagation: Remove offsets in late spring; leave to dry for a few days, then repot into small pots. Place in 70–75°F (21–24°C). |
