Feathered Amaranth, Plume Flower, Plumed Cock’s Flower, Prince of Wales’ Feather: Celosia argentea ‘Plumosa’
Brightly colored, pyramidal, and feathery spires of flowers, 3–6in (7.5–15cm) high, appear from mid- to late summer. Colors include pink, yellow, crimson, and amber. Celosia argentea ‘Venezuela’ is another attractive form (pictured below).
