Delta Maidenhair Fern: Adiantum raddianum
Also known as Adiantum cuneatum, it is more robust than Adiantum capillus-veneris, with long black stalks and pale-green, finely divided, triangular fronds. There are several forms, including ‘Fritz Lüthi’ (long, narrow fronds with overlapping, curly-edged, slightly blue leaflets) and ‘Fragrantissimum’ (fragrant fronds).

Care: In winter, keep compost slightly moist; in summer, water freely and feed every 2–3 weeks with weak liquid fertilizer. Repot in spring when roots fill the pot, usually every 2 years. |

Propagation: Divide congested plants in spring and place in 55–59°F (13–15°C). |
