These evergreen, tufted hybrids are derived from a wide range of streptocarpus species and are well known for their long, spoon-shaped, mid-green and corrugated leaves. They bear foxglove-like flowers, 1 ½–2 ½in (36–60mm) long, in small clusters from early summer to autumn. The wide color range includes white, red, and purple. ‘Constant Nymph’ has satiny, bluish-purple flowers.
