Never-Never Plant: Ctenanthe oppenheimiana
Evergreen perennial with a bushy nature and lance-shaped, leathery green leaves with silvery-gray feathering above and purple to wine-red below. Leaves are borne on long stalks. It is usually grown in the form ‘Tricolor,’ with a velvety surface and cream-colored blotches between leaves and reddish-purple beneath.
