We called the Monstera plant trend years ago, and it’s still going strong, and especially on Instagram. Charlotte Parker, social manager of Apartment Therapy’s IPlantEven account, recently told Racked she estimates that Monstera leaves are featured in more than 25% of interior design content she sees on the social media platform these days. Using just a cut stem or two (either fresh or faux) is the easiest way to get the sculptural aspect of the plant, without all the upkeep.
